Data Protection Notice for a LARKSON brand contest by Ecom Brands GmbH

on the organizer's webshop www.larkson.de.

If you participate in our contest, you consent to the processing of your personal data in accordance with this declaration, which you transmit to us for the purpose of participation.

For a contest in our webshop or on our social media, we typically process the following data:

Address, full name, email address, date of birth.

Purpose of data processing

The purpose of data processing is to conduct the contest. This involves verifying eligibility to participate and determining the winner. Participation in the contest is only possible if you provide us with the aforementioned data, as otherwise, contact cannot be made for prize notification.

The winner will be notified via personal direct message on LARKSON's social media or by email.

From the winner, we request the following data within the scope of the contest, which we do not publish:

Postal address,

First and last names,

Email address,

Date of birth.

The personal data provided by participants within the scope of the contest will be collected, stored, and used for the purpose of conducting and processing the contest, and passed on to a shipping service provider for prize delivery. In some cases, the prize will also be sent by email, for example, if it is a voucher.

Legal bases for data processing

By participating in one of our contests, you consent to data processing for the stated purposes. Data processing is therefore based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). Another legal basis for the processing of personal data is for the fulfillment of a contractual relationship (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR).

We process your data in the context of contests only for the stated purposes, unless you have expressly given us your consent for another purpose within the scope of conducting the contest.

Other recipients of your data

In some cases, we commission processors for prize determination or to conduct the contest. Otherwise, we do not pass on your data to unauthorized third parties without your explicit consent. 

Storage duration

We delete the data collected in the contest no later than three weeks after all prizes have been delivered. We are required to store winner data until this time due to statutory retention periods.
